On Friday night, our Foundry Department came together for The Crucible’s 20th Anniversary Iron Pour, casting over 1000 pounds of molten iron into a variety of ceramic shell and resin-bonded sand molds!

On Saturday night, The Crucible community gathered for our 20th Anniversary Fire & Light Soirée and Art Auction, contributing over $240,000 in support of The Crucible’s industrial arts programming, by bidding on 17 different works of art in the auction and through direct donations to our programming. This weekend, you helped us set an all-time-high Open House attendance record, with over 1,600 attendees! Local artists and Crucible faculty sold their work, our expert faculty gave demonstrations in all 19 of our departments, and kids were busy playing Bingo to win a bike.
