Description
This hands-on lab is for those who want to extend their warm-glass skills below or beyond the standard 6 mm thickness rules. Under guidance you will create self-guided projects using COE 90 glass and expand your understanding of kiln programming. Techniques may include: dams, stainless steel forms, simple pattern bars, and methods of using scrap glass. By the end of the course, you?ll have more confidence to keep exploring. Students must provide their own sheet glass (COE 90 only). Modest amounts of scrap, frits, stingers and powders will be provided. Some stainless-steel forms, Patty Gray molds, dams, fiber paper, thin fire, and tools are available.
