BIO

Reed is an Oakland native, and first started forging when he built a small forge as a 7th grade science fair project. Mostly self-taught, Reed has worked as a blacksmithing instructor an outdoor education company, as well as at the crucible. In his personal work, Reed is drawn to organic sculptural forms, as well as classical colonial-american ironworking styles.
