Thank You For Spending Your Weekend At GIFTY!

Thank you to the thousands of visitors who attended our annual GIFTY craft fair and open house this past weekend! With rain forecasted for both days, we weren’t sure what to expect. But gloomy weather wasn’t enough to keep you from supporting the best makers and small businesses in the Bay Area.
GIFTY would not be possible without our incredible vendors! It’s always so special to see the latest pieces from returning vendors and explore new offerings from our first-time participants. From one-of-a-kind clothing to beautiful sculptures, we were blown away by the incredible selection of goods for sale this year!
We also want to give a special thank you to the vendors who donated items to our Giving Back at GIFTY fundraiser, with all proceeds from sales going to our youth industrial arts programming.
Leading up to the event, our amazing studio team went the extra mile, moving large equipment and studio structures so our winter wonderland could come to life. Office staff also made sure every detail was accounted for so the event could go off without a hitch.
To our faculty who lead compelling demos and shared their works of art with the community, we are so grateful! We were especially thrilled to see folks enjoying live glass blowing demonstrations for the first time since 2019, following a pause in programming due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
One final, extra special thank you to our Volunteer, Events, and Team Builds Manager, Cassie Punnett, our incomparable leader in all things GIFTY. She managed logistics, vendor communications, decorating, volunteers, live demos, and so much more to create a beautiful event for all. Thank you for your months of hard work, Cassie!
