I got into blacksmithing because of my longtime fascination with medieval arms and armor. As I’ve continued to learn more about the craft I’ve realized that there is so much more to blacksmithing than I first thought. I started learning when I was 16 by taking Blacksmithing I and II at The Crucible. I stuck with it and now I am on the team as a teacher's assistant.
