I build and grow teams that do the seemingly impossible. Experienced R & D leader at companies large and small, concentrating on unsolved problems in security and privacy. My strategy is to "add tools to the toolbox" that unblock solutions to problems that could not be solved before.

The Crucible is the kind of place I wish had been available to me as a kid growing up in the rust belt. I started my Crucible journey with glassblowing, which I'd always wanted to learn, and became a strong supporter of its mission of education in the industrial (and fire) arts and service to the community around it.
