Seth Steward
BIO
Seth Steward serves as Executive Director of The Crucible. Prior to the Crucible, Seth worked as Chief of Staff for Oakland City Council member Dan Kalb. He also teaches criminal law at City College of San Francisco. Previously, Seth was an Assistant District Attorney in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. He served in the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer on a Combat Search and Rescue helicopter in the 129th Rescue Wing, California Air National Guard. Seth deployed to Iraq and Kenya. Seth received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government. He earned his Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy from Occidental College. He enjoys community service, riding his motorcycle and Chicago Steppin.
