Anne-Marie McKinley Stephenson brings more than 30 years of experience in fundraising, communications, and nonprofit strategy to The Crucible. She has worked with organizations ranging from Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights to the Community Chest of South Africa (the country’s equivalent of United Way), as well as assisting leading institutions like the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation and the Wilderness Foundation. Known for translating complex ideas into clear, compelling messages that connect people, resources, and community needs, Anne-Marie is excited to apply her global expertise to help advance creative education, expand access to industrial arts, and strengthen The Crucible’s long-term sustainability.

As a multi-medium artist with their strongest background in dance, performance, and film, Alea has spent the last several years working on more tangible arts and using the hands to create designs for pleasure and play. She is most content when weaving together theory + practice across fine and industrial arts, sciences and myth, and movement and performance.

Kirsten Kelly - Bio
Kirsten is a painter and multidisciplinary artist living and working in the Bay Area. She earned her BFA in Painting and Art History from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2019. Her work often combines elements of painting and stained glass as a means of exploring light and color. When she isn’t making art or keeping the studios running at The Crucible, she is running her independent lifestyle and homewares brand, Total Pansy, where she designs and creates vibrant and fun objects for creative people.
