Get creative while giving new life to discarded materials in this fun upcycled glass workshop. Using glass scraps from light fixture manufacturing, you’ll create one-of-a-kind fused glass pieces to take home.
Choose from two project options and customize your work with colorful glass powders, delicate stringers, and vibrant glass dots.
Small Vase — $45
Create a colorful small vase from an 8.5” square of upcycled glass. Decorate your design with stenciled glass powder, thin glass stringers, or colorful glass dots. Your piece will be fully fused and then gently draped over a stainless steel cocktail shaker to form a unique sculptural vase.
Trinket Dishes — $35
Make two imaginative square trinket dishes (approximately 3”–3.4”) using upcycled lamp fixture glass. Personalize your dishes with your choice of decorative techniques, including stenciled glass powder, stringers, and colorful glass dots. The glass will be fully fused to a smooth finish and then placed on a ceramic mold to slump into the final shape during a second firing.
