Join us for a fun ride around West Oakland and Lake Merritt!

We’ll roll up to Mountain View Cemetery and drop off anyone who’s not in the mood for the slow, meandering climb to Tilden, where we’ll scout for mushrooms sprouting after the rains. Then we’ll cruise back to Oakland via the Bayview Trail and refuel at Wally’s Cafe — an Oakland institution (bring cash!). All riders welcome!

How to Get Here

The Crucible is conveniently located near BART and AC Transit. We encourage public transportation. We will also have onsite bike parking.

BART

From the West Oakland BART Station, exit onto 7th Street, turn right and walk 2 blocks east to Union (at the 2nd light). The Crucible is on the northwest corner of 7th & Union, at 1260 7th Street. To plan your BART trip, visit www.bart.gov.

AC Transit & 511.org

Parking

Parking is available at 1300 7th Street. Enter the parking lot off of 7th Street heading West. Street parking is also available on 7th and Union streets.

Do not block The Crucible parking lot entrances. Do not park in lots owned by local businesses. Your car may be towed.
