How to Get Here

The Crucible is conveniently located near BART and AC Transit. We encourage public transportation. We will also have onsite bike parking.

BART

From the West Oakland BART Station, exit onto 7th Street, turn right and walk 2 blocks east to Union (at the 2nd light). The Crucible is on the northwest corner of 7th & Union, at 1260 7th Street. To plan your BART trip, visit www.bart.gov.

AC Transit & 511.org

Parking

Parking is available at 1300 7th Street. Enter the parking lot off of 7th Street heading West. Street parking is also available on 7th and Union streets.

Do not block The Crucible parking lot entrances. Do not park in lots owned by local businesses. Your car may be towed.

Fused Glass Flowers

Cost: $20 / person for a single stem
Ages: 7+ (under 12 must be with an adult)

Welcome spring with a playful, bright fused glass flower—your choice of a tulip or daisy design. Using simple glass-cutting tools, you’ll shape petals, stems, and leaves, then assemble your pieces onto a precut transparent garden stake. For an extra touch of charm, add a delightful ladybug murrini to a leaf. Afterward, we invite you to join our free, monthly public tour starting at 4 PM. Get Tickets
