Learn the history, cultural significance, and process of woodcarving and sculpting, including design and carving approaches. Through hands-on demonstration and approach, students get expert guidance through every step of the carving process, from brainstorming to adding fine detail. You will create a unique 3-D project of your own.
NOTE: This class is being held in its normal location indoors in the Woodshop classroom. We have measured and indicated safe, physically-distanced work stations for the 6 students and faculty member(s).
New Health and Safety Guidelines
All students must review and adhere to all of The Crucible's Health and Safety Guidelines to best protect our students and staff during this public health crisis. Classes have been modified to Alameda County’s latest safety recommendations and will continue to adapt as things change. If your class is cancelled by The Crucible due to updated county guidance, we are pleased to offer you a refund for a class or session that cannot run.
