Entry Level Class (No prerequisite required) in Jewelry
Learn the basics of jewelry making. We will focus on sawing, filing, sanding, soldering, texturing, annealing, stamping, polishing, and design. Students will learn the properties of metals like copper, brass, and silver and make a sterling silver ring.
This class is a prerequisite for the CREATE Program, a way for students to use our studio space, tools, and equipment to work on individual projects. All adult students who enroll in this class are also eligible to enroll in the Jewelry Lab course.
