Support The Crucible's Youth ProgramThe Crucible's Youth Program serves more than 3,000 young people each year through workshops, community projects, field trips, and summer camps. More than 50% of our Youth Program participants are West Oakland residents who receive scholarships and access to free programs.The Crucible's Summer Camp program has grown each of the past three years due to increased interest from young people from throughout the Bay Area. We are adding a fourth week in 2009 to accommodate more campers. We are also committed to providing 40% of summer camp participants with full scholarships. We have a great level of interest in this program from West Oakland youth who are familiar with Crucible classes and are seeking summer opportunities within walking or biking distance of their homes. Your donation of $275 will provide a weeklong "campership." A gift of any amount can be directed to summer camp scholarships or the Youth Program.
