Stewart Port has worked as a guitar maker, cabinetmaker and metalworker since 1973. His Industrial Arts education started early - he attended New York's famed Brooklyn Technical High School, where retired Navy Yard patternmakers and machinists schooled him. Stewart currently builds and repairs guitars at his Oakland studio and staffs the Drop-in Tech Help program at Berkeley's Tinkers Workshop.
