She then spent two years in Barcelona, Spain studying goldsmithing techniques at the Escola de Arts I Oficis. Her work is a blend of these influences, with inspiration drawn from the sea of her island home and tempered with European metalcraft. Mixed metals and organic forms dominate her designs.
