She is interested in the inherent contradiction involved in using fire and hammers to create delicate objects of adornment. Jennifer sees each piece of her jewelry as a miniature environment. Through this unique approach she uses the varied areas of her education: environmental design, art history and precision craft making to help her students design and create thoughtful and personally meaningful pieces of jewelry.
