She completed apprenticeships at two glass studios and studied stained glass, fusing, lampworking, sandblasting, glass casting and other techniques. Over the last ten years she has developed a glass studio where she uses a computer-controlled kiln for higher precision and reproducibility. Her science background inspires much of her artwork and informs her technical understanding of glasswork.
