Know Before You Go...
Thank you! Your support helps The Crucible continue
providing arts education to adults and youth in
the greater bay area.
While the Festival is
primarily a “walk-around”
event, there are also performances scheduled;
there will be limited, first-come first-served
seating available during those performances.
All tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable,
and event will occur rain or shine. Youth tickets
will be availble at the box ofice on the day of
the events.
The Crucible is located in West
Oakland, 1260 7th Street (at Union). Friday and
Saturday shows will take place at The Fire
Arts Arena located across from The Crucible.
The Arena entrance is located on 5th Street between
Kirkham and Union Streets.

Public Transportation
We encourage attendees to take BART to get
to the Festival.
From the West Oakland BART Station: exit
the station onto 7th Street, turn right and walk
2 blocks east to Union (at the 2nd light). The
Crucible is on the northwest corner of 7th & Union.
The Fire Arts Arena entrance is located on 5th
Street between Kirkham and Union Streets.

Parking
There are several paid
parking lots (up to $5 a night) around the Festival
as well as street and neighborhood parking. The
West Oakland BART station parking lot is free after
3:00pm.
Tickets
A picture I.D. will be required
for all will-call tickets (ticket purchaser
for group tickets). We encourage you to purchase
your ticket prior to the event - we will have tickets
available for purchase at the gate only as space
allows. Event will have limited first-come, first-served
seating.
At The Event
- No bottles, cans, coolers, lawn
furniture, weapons or illegal drugs.
Smoking
in designated areas only.
- Anyone attempting a spontaneous fire performance
or installation within the premises will be
ejected immediately.
- Children under the age
of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Patrons
will be subjected to loud noises, bursts of flame,
amplified music & strobe-like effects.
- The Crucible
is not responsible for the loss or theft of any
items.
