 Barry Baldwin

Barry Baldwin was born in Staffordshire, England, and attended Stafford College of Art and Design, and Bath Academy of Art. He followed this with a long apprenticeship that covered a broad range of stone carving and casting techniques. His work can be seen in a variety of monuments and other public projects in major cities throughout the U.K. and Europe.

    "Located in the very heart of London, Grand Buildings stands in the south-east corner of Trafalgar Square. I was commissioned to carve a doorway, standing over 6 meters (20ft) in height, on the Northumberland Avenue elevation, and a total of 27 over life size portrait heads on the Strand elevation." - Barry Baldwin
