Interested in Youth Summer Camp? Take our Youth Summer Camp Preview Tour on April 17, 2010 at 12PM
If you know a young artist (ages 8 to 18) who might enjoy a class at The Crucible, here’s your chance to find out more about our youth classes and camps and the people who teach them. On April 17, 2010 at 12:10PM, The Crucible is hosting a tour for families who are interested in our classes, workshops, and camps. This introduction to The Crucible includes a tour of the facility from 12:10 to 1:10PM. Set during our Open House, families can then enjoy all of our exciting demonstrations.
The Crucible offers courses not available in schools, typical summer camps or art programs. Here young people 8 to 18 learn to bend metal, shape glass, and control fire; exploring electronics, art, science and much more through age-appropriate classes in a safe, supportive environment. They learn responsibility along with their new skills, and confidence acquired from a job well done.
This year camp has been expanded to four sessions so you can tailor a full-day or a half-day of summer fun for your child. Register early to assure your spot as classes sell out quickly.
JUNE 21-25 | JULY 5-9 | JULY 19-23 | AUGUST 2-6
Hands-on classes have a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure that each student receives personal attention, and all are designed for beginners.
