Join us as The Crucible’s studio is transformed into an enchanted venue filled with fine art, fiery cuisine, and fabulous performances, all to benefit The Crucible’s youth and adult education programs. Enter through flowing tapestries into an electrical garden of illuminated sculpture. Hear the roar of the furnace, then stand in awe as the molten bronze flows.
The evening’s entertainment will feature the musical stylings of Rosin Coven, the spectacular fire effects of the Apsara stilt walkers and The Starlings’ dazzling aerial trapeze act. Feast on flame-tempered delicacies cooked on sculptureal ovens and burners, sip fine wines and an exclusive Crucible cocktail, and delight in a flaming chocolate fountain.
The highlight of the evening will be a live auction featuring fire-forged creations of metal, glass and light by more than twenty of the Bay Area’s best and brightest artists. As a spectacular finale, Fire & Light attendees will participate in a fiery spectacle: a flame filled procession to The Crucible’s adjacent Fire Arts Arena for an exclusive viewing of the breath-taking Fire Arts Festival Opening Ceremony.
