Haley Henderson
Haley Henderson began her
dance training at the age of eight with Clarissa
Boeriu in Ventura, California. From the age of
twelve she attended and received full scholarships
to summer ballet programs including Pacific
Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, American
Ballet Theatre,
Cleveland San Jose Ballet, Hartford
Ballet and
Houston Ballet. She also trained with
contemporary dancer Marla Bingham and performed
with her company in 2000. Haley was one of fifteen
dancers chosen from around the world to attend
the Royal
Danish Ballet’s summer program on full
scholarship, and was promoted to dancer in 2001.
In 2006 she represented the Royal Danish
Ballet dancing with
American Ballet Theatre during their Metropolitan
Opera House season. Haley has worked with many
prominent choreographers, and in 2005 danced the
principle role in Abdallah during the Royal
Danish Ballet’s critically acclaimed 3rd
Bournonville Festival.
